Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Service Representative will handle client enquiries across multiple digital channels, providing accurate product information and converting interest into sales. This role focuses on delivering a seamless buying experience while supporting post‑sale satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage enquiries on WhatsApp Business, Instagram, telephone, website and other approved channels.
• Provide product details, pricing, availability and ordering procedures.
• Recommend suitable items, upsell and cross‑sell to maximise sales.
• Process orders accurately, maintain documentation and follow up with prospects.
• Conduct after‑sales follow‑ups to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat purchases.
• Handle complaints professionally, resolve issues or escalate when needed.
• Liaise with internal teams for order processing, payment confirmation and delivery updates.
• Prepare regular service and sales reports, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum OND in any discipline.
• Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, telesales or e‑commerce.
• Proximity to Surulere is essential.
• Strong sales ability with proven conversion of enquiries into orders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
