Customer Acquisition and Business Development Officer

About the role

The Customer Acquisition and Business Development Officer will drive growth by converting prospects into active users of E‑Direct’s mobile application. This role involves direct outreach, field activities, and building relationships with business owners in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and persuade prospective clients to adopt the company’s application.
• Approach business owners, present services confidently, and onboard new customers.
• Convert prospective clients into active users of the mobile application.
• Explain how mobile applications work to non‑technical users.
• Utilise smartphones, computers and digital tools to demonstrate and explain mobile applications.
• Participate in physical business sourcing and field activities independently.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of SSCE.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar customer acquisition or sales role.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of CRM systems and customer databases.
• Proficiency with smartphones, computers and mobile applications.
• Ability to work independently on field assignments.
