Creche Staff – Full‑Time Childcare Position

About the role

We are looking for caring and attentive staff to join our creche, providing a safe and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers. The role involves daily interaction with children, supporting their development through play, storytime and music while maintaining high standards of hygiene and nutrition.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well‑being at all times.
• Engage children in age‑appropriate activities, including play, storytime, and music.
• Prepare and serve snacks and meals, following dietary restrictions and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized creche area, ensuring toys and equipment are cleaned and disinfected regularly.
• Monitor children’s developmental progress and report any concerns to the supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with other creche staff members and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (SSCE); additional certification in Early Childhood Education is a plus.
• Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Understanding of child development and best practices for infant and toddler care.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
