About the role

Gresyndale Legal is seeking a Corporate & Commercial Lawyer to join its Lagos office. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal support on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters, working closely with senior partners and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, transaction documents and board/shareholder documentation.
• Support corporate structuring, regulatory advisory, due diligence and company secretarial work.
• Conduct focused legal research and translate findings into practical advice.
• Manage assigned workstreams, meet deadlines and flag issues early.
• Maintain accurate matter records, filing discipline and clear written updates.
• Assist junior associates and contribute to business‑development activities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in Nigerian corporate and commercial law.
• Strong grounding in regulated transactions and corporate governance.
• Excellent legal drafting, research and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters with limited supervision.
• Professional judgment, attention to detail and openness to feedback.
