About the role
We are looking for a creative, story‑driven Content & Community Lead to own Bardge’s daily content engine and make the brand visible, understandable and memorable across social media and other customer‑facing channels.
Key responsibilities
- Own the day‑to‑day management of Bardge’s social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X) and maintain a consistent publishing calendar that aligns with product launches and partnership announcements.
- Write compelling posts, captions, scripts and campaign copy while designing simple graphics and social assets that reinforce the brand voice.
- Shoot and edit short‑form video using a phone, then repurpose each piece into multiple formats for different platforms to maximise reach.
- Turn product launches, new provider onboarding, customer success stories and industry developments into engaging educational and behind‑the‑scenes content.
- Collaborate directly with gyms, spas and wellness providers to capture authentic provider and customer stories, conducting interviews when needed.
- Support founder‑led content on LinkedIn and other channels, ensuring strategic alignment with growth objectives.
- Engage with customers, providers and partners in Bardge’s tone of voice, identify brand advocates and encourage user‑generated content.
- Build relationships with fitness, wellness and lifestyle communities, seeking collaborations with trainers, creators and relevant influencers.
- Execute joint campaigns with the Growth team that drive awareness, activation, engagement or retention, such as city launches, feature promotions or wellness challenges.
- Track content performance metrics (reach, engagement, video completion, follower growth, website traffic, leads) and continuously optimise based on data‑driven insights.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in content creation, social media management, community management or brand storytelling.
- Exceptional writing skills and a deep understanding of how LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok operate.
- Storytelling mindset with a strong visual taste and the ability to turn everyday events into shareable content.
- Comfortable shooting and editing video with a phone, directing others and producing high‑quality short‑form clips.
- Independent, fast‑moving and able to transform rough ideas from founders or teammates into publishable assets.
- Curious about customers and businesses, constantly seeking stories from new gym sign‑ups, HMO launches or shifting user behaviours.

- Monthly salary of ₦250,000‑₦350,000.
