About the role

Can you debate the football GOAT while simultaneously tracking user retention metrics? We are looking for an analytical, football‑obsessed Content Officer to drive digital engagement, curate compelling content, and manage our platform’s user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Populate, update, and manage the platform's digital content ecosystem using a Content Management System (CMS).
• Actively monitor community forums and seed high‑engagement topics, discussions, and hot takes that drive daily active usage and platform retention.
• Draft crisp, engaging copy in both flawless English and relatable Nigerian Pidgin to connect natively with football fans.
• Track key content performance metrics, monitor user retention signals, and use basic data analytics to refine content strategies.
• Leverage AI tools and modern productivity software to scale content creation, research stats, and streamline daily content workflows.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in digital content management, app administration, or content curation (talented entry‑level candidates welcome).
• Encyclopedic knowledge of football history, tactics, global leagues, and Nigerian fan culture.
• Hands‑on experience or familiarity with CMS platforms.
• Impeccable English grammar paired with natural mastery of Nigerian Pidgin.
