About the role

Skills Academy is looking for a full‑time, on‑site Computer Hardware & GSM Repair & Maintenance Facilitator to join its training team in Ibadan. The facilitator will deliver both theoretical and hands‑on instruction on computer hardware, GSM phone repair, and routine maintenance, ensuring learners acquire job‑ready skills.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and adapt lesson plans, training materials, and practical demonstrations for each class.
• Conduct classroom sessions and workshops, supervising learners as they practice hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and GSM device repairs.
• Assess learner performance, provide technical feedback, and maintain accurate training records.
• Maintain, calibrate, and update lab equipment and training devices to reflect current industry standards.
• Collaborate with the curriculum team to continuously improve course content and align it with market needs.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and hands‑on experience in computer repair, installation, and maintenance.
• Proven ability to diagnose and fix GSM phone hardware and perform basic software troubleshooting.
• Experience as a trainer, instructor, or facilitator in a technical or vocational setting is an advantage.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in computer engineering, electronics, ICT, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and classroom‑management skills, capable of supporting diverse learner groups.
