Compassionate Caregiver / Health Worker

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to provide professional, person‑centred support to a client in Abuja. The role involves assisting with daily personal care, monitoring wellbeing, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility assistance.
• Monitor the client’s health, record observations and report any changes.
• Remind and support the client with medication administration as prescribed.
• Maintain a clean and safe living space and accompany the client to medical appointments when needed.
• Keep accurate records of care activities and communicate updates to family members.
• Respond calmly to emergencies and uphold confidentiality and dignity at all times.

Required profile

• At least 24 months of experience as a caregiver, health worker, nursing assistant or similar role.
• Relevant caregiving or healthcare qualification is an advantage.
• Physically able to assist with daily care tasks.
• Patient, trustworthy, compassionate and responsible.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
