Coding Instructor – Teach Primary & Secondary Students

About the role

HLTS Limited is seeking passionate and experienced Male and Female Coding Instructors to join our team in Ojodu Berger, Lagos State, Nigeria. This is a full-time, on-site position. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching coding and computational thinking to primary and secondary school students through engaging, practical, and project‑based lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging coding lessons using age‑appropriate teaching methods.
• Teach programming languages and web development concepts.
• Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and student assessments.
• Develop hands‑on coding projects and classroom activities.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor students during coding competitions, hackathons, and technology clubs.
• Encourage creativity, logical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Maintain an organized and conducive coding laboratory environment.
• Stay updated with current programming trends and educational technologies.
• Collaborate with school management and the HLTS academic team to improve learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience teaching coding, programming, or computer science in a school or training environment.
• Strong knowledge of programming concepts and problem‑solving techniques.
• Ability to develop engaging lesson plans, coding exercises, and practical projects.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities.
• Passion for inspiring young learners to pursue careers in technology.
