Coding & Game Development Instructor for Teens

About the role

We are seeking a Coding & Game Development Instructor to teach teenagers (ages 10–19) during our August Teen Tech Bootcamp at the Digital Skills Centre in Ikorodu, Lagos. The role involves delivering practical, project‑based lessons in game development, web and app development using beginner‑friendly technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive coding classes for teenagers.
• Teach game development and coding through hands‑on projects.
• Guide students in building websites, simple web applications, and beginner‑friendly games.
• Encourage creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem‑solving.
• Monitor learners' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of Scratch, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic Python.
• Experience in web development or beginner app development.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring young people.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for beginners.
• Previous teaching experience is an advantage but not required.
