Coding and Robotics Instructor

About the role

GO STEAM GLOBAL is seeking a full‑time Coding and Robotics Instructor to join its on‑site team in Port Harcourt. You will design and deliver hands‑on coding and robotics lessons that inspire learners and develop problem‑solving, creativity, and collaboration skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver age‑appropriate coding and robotics lessons.
• Lead hands‑on activities, supervise projects and provide constructive feedback.
• Assess learner progress and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and school staff to continuously improve program quality.
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, competitions and curriculum development.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of robotics kits and practical project implementation.
• Experience with block‑based coding and/or beginner‑friendly text‑based programming languages.
• Solid understanding of STEM concepts and ability to link them to coding and robotics activities.
• Effective communication and classroom‑management skills.
• Relevant teaching, tutoring or workshop‑facilitation experience with children or young adults.
• Degree or certification in Computer Science, Engineering, Education or a related field is a plus.
