Civil Engineer – Geotechnical Construction

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to lead and support geotechnical and geo‑environmental construction projects across Lagos. You will be responsible for delivering safe, timely, and sustainable solutions from small‑scale works to large infrastructure developments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain construction projects of varying scale.
• Conduct on‑site investigations, collect and analyse data such as soil conditions, maps, and test results.
• Prepare technical and feasibility studies, blueprints, and design documents that meet code requirements.
• Supervise foundation investigations, piling, and installation activities.
• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, including site personnel, equipment setup, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor progress, compile status reports, and address emerging technical issues.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience as a civil engineer.
• BSc/HND in Civil Engineering (minimum 2nd class lower/merit).
• Professional engineering license.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment.

Required skills

• AutoCAD and Civil 3D (or similar design/visualisation software).
• Foundation piling and site layout expertise.
• Grading, utility design, and erosion‑control knowledge.
• Regulatory approval processes.
• Project management and supervision capabilities.
