Cinema Manager

About the role

The Cinema Manager will oversee daily cinema operations in Lagos, ensuring a high‑quality guest experience while driving retail profitability. This role supports the Business Manager in cost control, staff performance and meeting audience targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities of the cinema, including staffing, shift rotas and remuneration.
• Support the Business Manager in maximising revenue per head (RPH) and minimising shrinkage and wastage.
• Control operational costs, third‑party contractors and consumables on a daily basis.
• Provide feedback to improve cinema operations and champion guest and team needs.
• Prepare performance schedules in collaboration with the film‑booking department to meet business objectives.
• Ensure weekly audience targets are achieved.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of operations management experience at a supervisory level, preferably in retail.
• Strong customer relationship and team‑player skills with the ability to multitask.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent report writing, presentation, planning and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
