About the role

We are seeking a proficient Chinese Translator to join our team at Haida Agricultural Technology Nigeria Limited. The role involves converting written and spoken Chinese content into English (or other languages) to support our agricultural projects and communications.

Key responsibilities

• Translate documents, reports, and marketing materials from Chinese to English and vice‑versa, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Provide interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and field visits when real‑time translation is required.
• Review and proofread translated materials for grammatical correctness, cultural appropriateness, and fidelity to the original meaning.
• Adapt content to suit different audiences, reflecting local cultural nuances.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand specific translation needs and deliver high‑quality results.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional translation or interpretation experience.
• At least a diploma or equivalent qualification in translation, linguistics, or a related field.
• Mid‑level expertise with a proven track record of handling agricultural or technical documents.
