Chief Operating Officer (COO)

About the role

SBM Holistic Farmacy is seeking a proactive and results‑driven Chief Operating Officer to lead day‑to‑day operations across all functions. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the COO will translate strategic vision into actionable plans, strengthen systems and drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Sales, Marketing, Production, Inventory, Finance, Customer Service, HR and Administration.
• Develop, implement and enforce standard operating procedures and monitor key performance indicators.
• Lead department heads, set clear KPIs, conduct performance reviews and ensure accountability.
• Drive revenue by collaborating with Sales and Marketing to meet monthly targets and improve customer retention.
• Manage inventory, procurement and supplier relationships to prevent stock‑outs and reduce wastage.
• Monitor production schedules, quality standards and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Control operational expenses, work with Finance on budgets and provide regular operational reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• 7–10 years of senior management or operations experience, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, wellness or related sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple departments and large teams.
• Strong business and financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets reporting skills.
• Experience creating and managing SOPs and KPI dashboards.

What we offer

• Base salary of ₦350,000 per month.
• Potential performance‑based bonus or incentive linked to company and individual targets.
