About the role
The Chief of Staff / Programme Office Lead will head the programme office for the CADY initiative, acting as the central coordination hub. You will ensure planning, reporting, governance and cross‑team alignment are effectively managed, providing the Programme Director and senior leadership with up‑to‑date visibility of progress.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the integrated programme schedule, milestones, and programme dashboard.
- Coordinate programme planning and ensure key deliverables remain on track.
- Prepare Board and committee papers, briefing materials, minutes, and action points.
- Manage programme risks, issues, and action tracking, ensuring items are followed through to completion.
- Maintain the programme document repository and ensure proper version control.
- Coordinate across different workstreams and manage dependencies between teams.
- Lead special projects and analysis on behalf of the Programme Director.
- Prepare clear briefings, recommendations, and decision materials for senior leadership.
- Maintain the programme’s reporting schedule, controls, and quality standards.
- Support effective governance and ensure Board and committee processes run smoothly.
Required profile
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in programme/project management, top‑tier consulting, or a Chief of Staff role.
- Strong experience in programme management, PMO, and programme controls.
- Excellent planning, organisation, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and professional reports, briefs, and Board papers.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Good judgement, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work effectively and confidently with senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience working on capital projects or institution‑building programmes (advantage).
- Familiarity with governance, Board, and committee processes (advantage).
- Relevant university degree and recognised PMO or project‑management qualification (advantage).
