Chartered Accountant – Real Estate Finance

About the role

Kenex Konsults International is seeking a Chartered Accountant to lead its finance function within the real‑estate division. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting, preparing statutory reports and supporting investment decisions for property acquisitions, developments and leasing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable and fixed‑asset records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with applicable standards.
• Manage cash flow, budgets, forecasts and financial projections for real‑estate projects.
• Track construction costs, development budgets and profitability analyses.
• Ensure timely filing of VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT and other statutory obligations.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and enforce internal controls and financial policies.
• Supervise and mentor finance staff and collaborate with project, sales, legal and operations teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (mandatory).
• At least 2 years of post‑qualification accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, budgeting and internal controls.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
