Cashier

About the role

The company is looking for a reliable Cashier to manage daily transactions in its retail and FMCG outlets. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth and accurate payment processing.

Key responsibilities

• Receive payments via cash, POS, bank transfers and issue receipts.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer, balance records at shift end and report discrepancies.
• Verify prices, discounts and quantities before completing sales.
• Provide friendly customer service, answer enquiries and resolve basic transaction issues.
• Keep the cashier area clean, organized and secure, and monitor POS equipment for technical problems.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE/OND in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience as a cashier or similar customer‑facing role.
• Strong numerical, record‑keeping and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Honest, trustworthy and able to work under pressure, both independently and in a team.
