CAD Engineer – Design Doors, Gates & Smart Furniture

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented CAD Engineer to join our Product and Engineering Team. The role involves creating precise 2D and 3D designs for doors, gates, furniture, and smart‑technology components, and working closely with carpenters, welders and the design team to turn concepts into manufacturable products.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs for doors, gates, furniture, and smart product components.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
• Translate customer and architectural requirements into technical drawings.
• Maintain and organise CAD libraries and design documentation.
• Optimize existing designs for performance, aesthetics and cost‑effectiveness.
• Prepare CNC machine files and ensure design compatibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture or a related field.
• At least 2 years of CAD design experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and fabrication methods.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and convert them into 3D models.
• Creative problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
