Business Sales Manager

About the role

Ascentech is seeking a Business Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across FMCG, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors. You will lead the full sales cycle, build relationships with senior decision‑makers and align solutions with client business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities within FMCG, pharmaceutical and manufacturing companies.
• Build relationships with CEOs, Commercial Directors, Operations Managers, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT and Finance teams.
• Conduct client presentations, product demonstrations and prepare business proposals.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation, closing and handover.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts and reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably selling solutions to FMCG, pharmaceutical or manufacturing companies.
• Proven track record of achieving significant sales/revenue targets.
• Strong network with decision‑makers in target industries.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to manage long sales cycles and close high‑value deals.
• Strategic thinking, commercial awareness and ability to work independently.
• Experience with CRM and sales pipeline management is an advantage.
