Business & Performance Data Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Business & Performance Analyst to support our Sales & Marketing function. The role will provide actionable business and market insights, monitor sales performance, and support strategic decision‑making to drive growth and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly sales and business performance reports.
• Develop dashboards to track KPIs such as OTIF delivery, sales forecasts, order books, backlogs, and truck residency.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis covering market share, industry trends, customer behaviour, brand perception, and satisfaction.
• Translate business and market data into actionable insights and recommendations for management.
• Support corporate sales with performance analysis, customer action plans, and business improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Risk Management, SAP, Finance, and Sales to meet operational and customer requirements.
• Benchmark performance against industry competitors and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain market intelligence and data‑gathering frameworks.
• Track and report progress on strategic and business improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Research, Business or related field (post‑graduate qualification is a plus).
• 5‑9 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis, market research and competitive intelligence.
• Good understanding of macro‑ and micro‑economic trends and their impact on performance.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, research and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with statistical and data analysis tools.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
