Business Development Officer – Port Harcourt

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Officer to expand our client base and forge strategic partnerships in Port Harcourt. You will identify new market opportunities, pitch our solutions, and nurture relationships that drive revenue and brand growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and secure new clients across diverse industries in Port Harcourt and surrounding areas.
• Present TalentForge Solutions’ services to prospects, negotiate contracts, and achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage retention and referrals.
• Develop strategic partnerships with businesses, organisations, and key stakeholders to broaden market reach.
• Track leads, activities, and performance in a CRM system; prepare weekly sales reports and market insights.
• Represent the company at networking events, trade fairs, and meetings.

Required profile

• BSc/HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations.
• Existing network or strong local knowledge of Port Harcourt is a distinct advantage.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and comfortable with field work; must own a laptop and have reliable mobility.

• CRM (customer relationship management) usage.
