About the role
EBC Financial Group is looking for a high‑performing Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition, partnership growth, and revenue expansion in the Nigerian market. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in financial services, forex, CFDs, or fintech sales and a strong ability to build strategic relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to increase market penetration.
- Acquire and onboard new retail and institutional trading clients.
- Identify, recruit, and manage Introducing Brokers (IBs), affiliates, and strategic partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with traders, investors, fintech communities, academies, and corporate clients.
- Conduct market research to spot industry trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
- Drive client engagement through webinars, seminars, networking events, and online campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to improve acquisition and retention strategies.
- Achieve monthly deposit, trading volume, and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and CRM updates.
- Deliver professional product presentations and platform demonstrations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Experience in business development, sales, or partnership management within forex, CFDs, fintech, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and online trading products.
- Proven track record of meeting sales and revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong network within the trading or financial services industry is an advantage.
- Experience using CRM and sales reporting tools.
