About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive international sales of air compressors and compressed air systems, building customer bases and channel networks across target overseas markets. The role focuses on achieving sales targets while ensuring strong customer relationships and project execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop customers, expand channels, and implement sales for the company's air compressors and compressed air systems in overseas target markets, achieving annual/quarterly sales targets.
  • Establish and continuously expand resources among distributors, agents, end customers, and project‑based clients in key regions, driving cooperation agreements and order conversions.
  • Conduct market research, customer visits, demand analysis, product recommendations, business negotiations, and payment follow‑up for industrial manufacturing, mining, infrastructure, energy and machinery processing applications.
  • Promote combined sales of complete machines, after‑processing equipment, spare parts and supporting solutions to enhance customer loyalty and per‑customer output.
  • Maintain existing overseas customer relationships, coordinate internal resources such as technology, delivery and after‑sales service, ensuring project progress, delivery schedule control and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor competitor dynamics, pricing systems, channel changes and policy environment, providing regular market analysis and business development suggestions.
  • Participate in overseas exhibitions, regional visits, online customer acquisition and brand promotion activities to increase brand exposure and business opportunities.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in International Trade, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Energy and Power Engineering or related fields.
  • International sales experience with air compressors or a brokerage background with access to customer resources for air‑compressor related products (optional).
  • Proven ability to independently acquire customers, build channels, negotiate business and execute orders in overseas markets.
  • Strong regional market implementation capabilities; priority given to candidates with networks or on‑site experience in South America, Central Asia, South Asia or Southeast Asia.
  • English fluency; additional languages such as Spanish, Russian, Portuguese or other foreign languages are a plus.
  • Excellent cross‑cultural communication, business acumen and results‑oriented mindset; willingness to travel or be posted overseas.
  • Background in industries related to air compressors, refrigerated dryers, desiccant dryers, filters, air tanks, pneumatic tools, industrial equipment or electromechanical products is advantageous.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of air compressor and compressed air system products.
  • Familiarity with industrial manufacturing, mining, infrastructure, energy and machinery processing applications.
  • Understanding of market research, customer acquisition and channel development processes.
