Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive new revenue streams for R & R by targeting international oil companies, marginal field operators and major contractors in the Nigerian upstream sector. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal preparation to contract administration and post‑award variations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities with IOCs, marginal field operators and major contractors.
• Lead negotiations and close commercial deals, ensuring compliance with NCDMB regulations.
• Manage end‑to‑end bidding on the NIPEX portal, including preparation and submission of technical and commercial tenders.
• Research, write and assemble commercial proposals, EOIs and pre‑qualification documents.
• Oversee contract administration, SLAs and post‑award variations.
• Build and maintain high‑level networks with decision‑makers, contract committees and procurement departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4–7 years of progressive business development or sales experience, preferably in oil and gas.
• Deep familiarity with Nigerian upstream contracting regulations, NIPEX joint qualification system and EPC tender cycles.
• Strong proposal writing and commercial negotiation abilities.
