Business Development Associate – Programmatic Ads

About the role

Admattic is seeking a proactive Business Development Associate to drive programmatic advertising sales and revenue growth across Nigeria and other African markets. Reporting to the Business Head, you will build strategic client relationships, develop a robust sales pipeline, and contribute directly to the company’s expansion in the MEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new clients—including brands, media agencies, trading desks, and digital partners—through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry engagement.
• Pitch Admattic’s programmatic, audience, performance, and digital media solutions, prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and achieve individual and regional revenue targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with media agencies, advertisers, and programmatic buying teams, conducting client meetings, business reviews, and upselling opportunities.
• Research and develop market opportunities in Nigeria and other key African countries (Ghana, Kenya, South Africa), track competitor activity, and support go‑to‑market strategies.
• Stay current on programmatic technologies (DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, CTV, DOOH) and communicate solution benefits to clients.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in programmatic advertising sales, AdTech, digital media, or related B2B sales.
• Proven ability to prospect, pitch, negotiate and manage client relationships.
• Strong analytical, research and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Self‑driven, target‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced international environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM platforms.
