Brand & Creative Designer

About the role

Xcentrique Media is looking for a Brand & Creative Designer to translate strategic brand insights into compelling visual identities that resonate across African markets and beyond. You will work closely with strategy, content, and marketing teams to ensure visual consistency while allowing creative flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cohesive visual identities, including logos, typography, color palettes, and design guidelines.
• Translate brand strategy and messaging into design solutions for digital, print, campaigns, and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align visuals with brand objectives.
• Maintain consistency and quality across all brand assets.
• Conduct visual research, create mood boards, and develop concepts that support brand storytelling.
• Present design concepts confidently to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback while preserving design integrity.
• Stay updated on design trends, cultural aesthetics, and visual movements relevant to African markets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts or related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in brand design or visual identity development.
• Strong portfolio showcasing brand identity projects.
• Highly creative, detail‑oriented, and quality‑driven.
• Strategic thinker with solid visual judgment.
• Collaborative attitude and openness to constructive feedback.
• Passion for building authentic African brands.
