Branch Manager – Banking

About the role

Zeus Microfinance Bank is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Abuja branch. You will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring compliance, and delivering high‑quality customer service in a fast‑moving micro‑finance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership and direction to all branch staff.
• Supervise, train, and motivate employees to achieve productivity and service targets.
• Drive branch sales goals through marketing, relationship‑building and cross‑selling of loans, savings and digital channels.
• Oversee daily banking operations including cash management, loan processing and back‑office functions.
• Ensure full compliance with internal policies, CBN regulations and audit recommendations.
• Monitor loan applications, disbursements, repayments and portfolio quality.
• Prepare and manage the branch budget, financial targets and KPI reporting.
• Control operating expenses while maximizing revenue generation.
• Maintain effective internal control systems and manage credit, operational and reputational risk.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of micro‑finance operations, products and credit analysis.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance guidelines (e.g., CBN, NDIC).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with core banking systems such as Bank One, Finacle or FLEXCUBE.
