Bidding and Tendering Specialist

About the role

The Bidding and Tendering Specialist will drive business growth by managing the full tender lifecycle for oil & gas contracts. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to secure new opportunities and ensure compliant, competitive submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end tendering processes, from opportunity identification to bid submission.
• Prepare, review, and submit bids for oil & gas contracts.
• Handle contracts, procurement activities, and vendor engagement.
• Oversee contract documentation and maintain organized records.
• Develop accurate cost estimates and project budgets using engineering inputs.
• Source and evaluate new contract opportunities within the oil & gas sector.
• Apply engineering knowledge to support project planning, execution, and costing.
• Negotiate and communicate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Navigate platforms such as NipeX, Ariba, and NOGIC JQS for vendor registration, bidding, and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4‑5 years of business development experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Proven ability to execute successful development strategies.
• Focused, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently.
