Bank Officer

About the role

The Bank Officer will oversee daily banking transactions and ensure accurate financial records for our Lagos operations. You will act as a liaison between the company and banking partners while supporting the accounts team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily banking transactions, payments, transfers, and deposits.
• Prepare and maintain accurate bank and financial records.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor cash inflows, outflows, and account balances.
• Liaise with banks on account‑related issues.
• Prepare financial and banking reports for management review.
• Ensure proper documentation, authorization and compliance with internal policies and banking regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in accounting, finance or banking operations.
• Strong accounting background with proven bank reconciliation experience.
• Professional accounting certification (ACCA, ICAN or equivalent) is an advantage.
• High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.
