Associate Pharmacist

About the role

Reliance Health is expanding its pharmacy network across Nigeria and seeks an Associate Pharmacist to ensure patients receive the right medication quickly and safely. Working in a Lagos pharmacy, you will support Pharmacy Technicians in preparing, labeling, and dispensing medicines while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications after carefully reviewing each prescription.
• Label and package medicines clearly and counsel patients on usage and possible side effects.
• Maintain accurate records in the pharmacy computer system and ensure data security.
• Monitor stock levels, report low or expired items, and assist with ordering and shelving.
• Collaborate with senior pharmacists, doctors, and nurses to provide optimal patient care.

Required profile

• B.Pharm degree from an accredited institution and completion or exemption from NYSC.
• 0–2 years of clinical experience in a clinic, hospital, community, or retail pharmacy setting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to explain medical concepts in lay terms.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
