About the role

The university is seeking an Assistant Professor in Economics to join its academic staff. The appointment is intended to support the delivery of economics courses and to contribute to the department’s research agenda. All teaching duties will be performed in accordance with the regulations of the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC). The incumbent will be expected to fulfill all responsibilities associated with a teaching position as defined by the NUC, including curriculum delivery and student assessment. The university notes that remuneration will not be a constraint for a deserving candidate.

Required profile

Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Economics or a closely related discipline.
Minimum teaching experience as stipulated by the NUC regulations for university faculty.
Compliance with all terms and standards set by the NUC and the relevant academic council.
