About the role
The Artists Relationship Manager will be the primary point of contact for artists and labels using The SM Records’ digital distribution and rights‑management services. Working remotely from Nigeria, you will guide creators through onboarding, support their catalog management, and help maximise revenue across streaming platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Onboard new artists and labels, providing step‑by‑step guidance on distribution workflows and digital rights setup.
- Monitor streaming performance, analyse royalty reports and platform analytics, and propose growth strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve operational issues, ensure accurate catalog data, and maintain timely royalty payments.
- Educate artists on digital rights, revenue models, and best practices to boost long‑term retention.
Required profile
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with a customer‑centric mindset.
- Good knowledge of the music industry, especially digital distribution and streaming in the African/Nigerian market.
- Organisational ability to manage catalog data, track releases, and handle multiple artist accounts.
- Analytical aptitude to interpret royalty and performance data and turn insights into actionable recommendations.
