Area Sales Supervisor – Abuja

About the role

BIC World is looking for an energetic Area Sales Supervisor to lead a team of Sales Representatives in Abuja. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving product distribution, and ensuring the execution of promotional activities across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales and gross profit targets for the designated categories and territory.
• Coach, monitor, and evaluate the performance of Sales Representatives through regular field visits and performance reviews.
• Design and optimise route‑plans to maximise outlet coverage and efficiency.
• Increase numeric and weighted distribution while identifying new sales opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers, including wholesalers and distributors.
• Oversee promotion execution, merchandising, product visibility, and new product launches.
• Ensure stock availability, order generation, delivery follow‑up, and cash collection.
• Track competitor pricing and market activities, providing insights to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Conduct periodic territory performance reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in FMCG sales or business development.
• Proven track record of leading a team of sales representatives.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales, distribution, and coverage targets.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑driven, organised, and comfortable working independently in a field‑based environment.
