Area Operations Manager

About the role

The Area Operations Manager will lead the daily performance of several hospitality outlets in the Marina area, ensuring consistent service quality, operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of multiple hospitality outlets, maintaining service standards and operational KPIs.
• Monitor sales, profitability, customer satisfaction and other performance metrics against targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity and revenue generation.
• Conduct site visits and operational audits to ensure compliance with SOPs, health, safety and food hygiene standards.
• Recruit, train, coach and mentor branch managers and operational staff.
• Analyse financial reports, control costs and implement measures to maximise profitability.
• Resolve escalated customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Manage inventory, procurement and stock control to minimise loss and waste.
• Collaborate with HR on workforce planning and employee engagement.
• Work with marketing to execute promotional campaigns and drive traffic.
• Prepare periodic operational reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Hotel Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in hospitality operations management, supervising multiple outlets or branches.
• Proven leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational costs.
• Excellent organizational, planning and decision‑making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to travel frequently between business locations.
