Arabic‑Speaking Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager (Expat)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based at the Precious Palm Royal Hotel in Benin City. The Arabic‑speaking expat will lead the housekeeping team, ensuring the hotel’s rooms, public areas and laundry services meet the high standards expected of a 4‑star property.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public‑area upkeep and laundry management.
• Plan and organise staff schedules, assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Inspect guest rooms and facilities to guarantee cleanliness and presentation.
• Coordinate with front‑office and maintenance teams to address guest requests promptly.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring adequate stock levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of housekeeping experience in 4‑star or luxury hotels.
• Fluency in Arabic and good proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Proven supervisory skills, including team leadership, scheduling and performance monitoring.
• Hands‑on knowledge of room cleaning, public‑area maintenance and laundry operations.
• Understanding of health, safety and sanitation regulations in hospitality.
