Accounting Head

About the role

The Accounting Head will lead the company’s day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective cash flow management. This senior role involves overseeing the general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations while supporting strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor income, expenses, cash flow and overall financial performance.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns and address audit findings.
• Maintain compliance with company financial policies and proper documentation for transactions.
• Analyze costs, identify efficiency opportunities and support management in business planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, ACA) preferred.
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, including senior or supervisory roles.
• Experience in hospitality, real estate, serviced apartments or property management is an advantage.

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Quickbooks.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage.
