About the role
We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our finance team within the shipping and logistics division. The role involves managing cost accounting, invoicing, and daily bookkeeping to support smooth cargo operations. You will collaborate with operations and supply‑chain teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Perform cost accounting and prepare accurate invoices.
- Maintain the general ledger and execute daily bookkeeping tasks.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles.
- Conduct internal audits, oversee asset management, and produce financial reports.
Required profile
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in cargo logistics, freight forwarding, maritime or supply‑chain environments.
- Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACA or ACCA is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with accounting software (e.g., V‑note, QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
