Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will support Pod Premium Ltd’s real‑estate and hospitality operations by managing financial planning, budgeting, and compliance. You will work closely with project teams to ensure accurate accounting and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual operating budgets, track project costs, and prepare variance reports for management.
• Monitor escrow accounts, tenant lease agreements, and rent collections for the property portfolio.
• Review and process interim payment certificates for construction contractors and suppliers.
• Manage corporate tax computations, file statutory returns (VAT, WHT, CIT) and liaise with tax authorities.
• Prepare end‑of‑year financial statements and act as primary contact for internal and external auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in real‑estate, property investment or construction.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with accounting software such as Sage 50, QuickBooks and SAP.
• Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling.
