About the role
We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join Mybetgift’s finance team in Lagos. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and providing insightful financial analysis to drive business decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger and day‑to‑day accounting records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
- Ensure timely tax filings and statutory compliance.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Provide financial insights and reports to management.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Monitor cash flow and perform bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Required profile
- HND in Accounting or related field.
- Completed NYSC.
- Minimum 3 years post‑NYSC experience.
- Audit experience.
Required skills
- Proficient in accounting software.
- Advanced MS Excel.
