Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, oversee call‑centre revenue and expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations. The role works closely with HR, Operations and Management to support payroll and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily income, expenses, receipts and payments.
• Monitor call‑centre revenue, operational costs and cash flow.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts and vendor payments.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts and expense statements.
• Oversee staff payroll, allowances, deductions and related payments.
• Process invoices, reimbursements and vendor accounts.
• Track client payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Ensure all transactions are authorised, documented and compliant with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a call‑centre or fast‑paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
