Accountant

About the role

Plumes Healthcare is looking for an Accountant to manage its financial operations, support budgeting and cash‑flow planning, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The role works closely with clinical and administrative teams to provide accurate financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank and account balances.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare tax‑related documentation as required.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to deliver accurate financial data for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Prior experience in healthcare or a regulated industry is beneficial but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Financial accounting and general ledger maintenance.
• Preparation of financial statements.
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Accounts payable and receivable processes, reconciliations and cash‑flow management.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel for data management and reporting.
