Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level Accountant to join our manufacturing and warehousing operations in Lagos. The role involves managing the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting business growth through insightful analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, and cash‑flow reports.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable and vendor payments.
• Ensure tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, WHT) and liaise with regulatory bodies.
• Support inventory and cost management for production and sales.
• Provide financial insights to guide business growth decisions.
• Implement and maintain proper accounting controls and systems.

Required profile

• B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ICAN/ACCA certification (or in view) is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or FMCG.
• Strong analytical skills, high integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho Books.
• Advanced Excel skills.
