About the role

FnV Lifestyle is seeking a diligent Accountant to join its finance team in Port Harcourt. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records and accounting documents.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and expense reporting.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Analyze financial data and recommend improvements to performance.
• Maintain accounting systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor and implement accounting policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, ICAN, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Proven experience in accounting or financial management (up to 2 years).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
