Accountant – Financial Management & Reporting

About the role

Castville Solutions is seeking an Accountant to manage financial records, support budgeting and ensure accurate reporting for its furniture production operations. The role involves close collaboration with procurement, sales, operations and production teams to maintain strong financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
• Monitor daily sales, expenses, income and cash flow.
• Track production costs for furniture, including raw materials, labour and transportation.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, supplier payments and customer balances.
• Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports for management.
• Develop budgets and compare actual expenses against approved budgets.
• Process payroll and maintain employee payment records.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash records and other financial accounts.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices, receipts and purchase orders.
• Assist with pricing and costing of furniture products to ensure profitability.

Required profile

• HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA or equivalent (advantage).
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, furniture or retail.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
