Account Manager – West Africa (Nigeria)

About the role

The client, a leading Managed Security Services Provider, seeks a commercially‑minded Account Manager to drive growth and deepen relationships across Nigeria. You will act as the trusted advisor on cybersecurity solutions, managing existing accounts and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the relationship with assigned clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
• Diagnose client security needs and propose tailored managed security, threat detection, incident response and compliance solutions.
• Generate new business through prospecting, consultative upselling and participation in industry events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver consistent, high‑quality service.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of account management, business development or B2B sales experience in IT, telecommunications or cybersecurity.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially with government, financial services or enterprise clients.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and ethical standards.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of cybersecurity services (managed security, threat detection, incident response, compliance, vulnerability assessment).
• Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Zoho CRM.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with Nigeria’s cybersecurity regulatory framework (NDPR, Cybercrimes Act) is a plus.

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary of NGN 1,069,303.30 and net salary of NGN 800,000.00.
• Commission of 1.5% on total deal value.
