Account Manager – IT Solutions & Junior Pre‑Sales Security Engineer

About the role

ClickIT is expanding its Lagos team and is looking for two professionals: an Account Manager – IT Solutions to drive sales and customer relationships, and a Junior Pre‑Sales Security Engineer to support technical pre‑sales engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers, identify new business opportunities and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and prepare proposals, quotations and solution diagrams.
• Support pre‑sales engagements by gathering technical requirements, designing secure IT and cybersecurity solutions and delivering proof‑of‑concept activities.
• Collaborate with sales, account managers and technical engineers to ensure appropriate solution design and delivery.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in account management, IT sales or business development (for Account Manager) or 1–3 years in pre‑sales, IT support, networking or cybersecurity (for Junior Engineer).
• Strong communication, presentation and problem‑solving abilities; ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of networking and security concepts including TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs and endpoint security.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud, backup and data‑protection technologies.
