Account Executive – Accounting & Finance

About the role

We are seeking an Account Executive to join our finance team in Abeokuta. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the company’s financial reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting entries.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other financial documents.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses and daily financial activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Support payroll processing and staff reimbursement procedures.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations and financial controls.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
