Word and PDF Expert (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Word and PDF professionals to support high‑impact document projects for regulated clients. This remote contract role focuses on delivering precise editing, formatting, and data‑extraction services while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Review, edit, and format complex Word and PDF files according to client‑specific standards.
• Manage tracked changes, comments, and version control across large documents.
• Create, edit, and populate dynamic forms and templates in Word and PDF.
• Extract and consolidate data from documents for reporting and analysis.
• Implement document workflows for legal, regulatory, and compliance projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver timely, accurate solutions.
• Train stakeholders on advanced Word and PDF features and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of intensive experience with Word and PDF tools in professional settings.
• Advanced degree (Master’s, PhD, or JD) in a relevant field such as law, healthcare, academia, public policy, or finance.
• Proven track record supporting Fortune 500 or similarly regulated clients.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and effective in a remote, deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Word (advanced formatting, tracked changes, templates).
• Adobe Acrobat PDF (form fields, digital signatures, secure handling).
• Document version control and workflow implementation.
• Data extraction and consolidation from Word/PDF files.
