Ticketing & Reservation Officer

About the role

The Ticketing & Reservation Officer will manage the complete travel booking cycle for corporate and individual clients, from designing itineraries to issuing tickets, while ensuring compliance with international travel regulations. Based in Lagos Island, the role supports the company’s commitment to delivering world‑class travel and logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Use Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to research, quote and issue tickets, optimizing fares for cost‑efficiency and traveler convenience.
• Design complex multi‑city itineraries and manage high‑volume reservation requests.
• Provide real‑time travel updates, advise clients on transit requirements and international protocols.
• Handle ticket modifications, reissues and cancellations, minimizing penalties.
• Promote ancillary travel products and special offers to meet sales targets.
• Maintain accurate data entry in reservation systems and monitor waitlists to secure space on high‑demand dates.
• Educate clients on service portfolio, loyalty programmes and competitive advantages.
• Stay informed on global airline industry changes and market intelligence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in airline ticketing and reservation handling.
• Strong knowledge of international travel regulations and airline policies.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and computer reservation systems.
